RIGHTS Without responsibilities/ACTIONS Without consequences
We are a society that now berates people for suggesting that a parent should be allowed to have a 3 year pump the brakes on gender reassignment AND we also balk at having a 7 year old arrested for rape.
So we’re teaching kids about sexuality and giving them their sexual “rights” pert near as soon as they can speak but if they act out inappropriately sexually, they shouldn’t be held accountable. Which is it? Are you ready for adult decisions when you’re in single digits or not?
We don’t even believe adults are culpable for their actions. We only believe in rights. It’s a twisted dichotomy. We’re talking about giving the vote to 16 year olds but we can’t expect a full grown black man not to expect that if he shoots through the door of his apartment at the police outside something bad could happen to his girlfriend inside the apartment. (That’s as far as I’ll go for now about the infantilization of black people...for now.)

Freedom without responsibility is a dangerous thing.
